Actual Costs
Actual Costs are invoices paid to any party for goods or services on a project. Two types of invoices can be entered in Trimble Unity Construct, general invoices and commitment invoices. Actuals that are not associated with a commitment (building permits, journal entries, etc.) are called general invoices. Actuals that are paid against a particular Commitment (Contract) are commitment invoices. Tracking Actuals in Trimble Unity Construct will allow you to know what has been paid and what is outstanding. Tracking actuals also helps with projecting cash flow.
Many of the procedures related to invoices can be performed by way of an automated cost process. See About Cost Processes for more information.
