Add General Invoices

General invoices are not associated with commitments and may be issued for a subset of a budget line item, such as legal fees, builder permits etc., things that are required to be paid on the project, but not project-based contracts such as flooring, and other building material.

The invoice can be saved with or without invoice items at this time. You have the flexibility to added items to the invoice at any time while it is in the Draft status. Once action is taken on the item (Approval Requested, Approved, Paid etc.) you are no longer able to add invoice line items. To add line items after this draft is saved, simply edit the invoice.
