This section includes general information about the project's calendar, such as the start and end times of the work day and the days that make up the work week. These settings influence the project calendar and schedule modules only. They do not affect due dates and escalation calculations in areas such as processes, submittals and forms.
- Work Day Start Time: Displays the time that the work day begins.
- Work Day End Time: Displays the time that the work day ends.
- Work Week: Displays the days of the week that makes up the work week.
This section lists all the days that are treated as exceptions to the general rule, such as holidays that fall on typical working days. Knowing these days early on allows you to plan effectively. Calendar Exceptions can also be created at the account level by the administrator. These exception dates apply to every project in the account. When you edit the Settings tab, exceptions with a grayed out check box are account level and cannot be changed.
If the Multiple Calendar or Resource Management features are activated, then Calendar Exceptions from Project Details are no longer connected to the schedule module. Non-working time is defined on each individual calendar from the Working Time button on the schedule toolbar.
