Void Commitments

If an approved commitment was added or approved in error, the only way to remove it from the budget and Commitments page is to void it. However, If you want to void a commitment that has commitment changes and invoices, you must void the invoices and commitment changes before you can void the commitment.

Only users with the ‘Add/Edit Commitment permission can void commitments.

To void a commitment

  1. Go to the Commitment Details page.
  2. For more information, see Access the Commitment Details Page.

  3. Click Void.
  4. You are prompted for confirmation.

  5. Click Continue.
