About Dynamic Grids
A Dynamic Grid is a block of information that can be added to a process layout to help streamline data entry. It enables the addition of new rows of information to the process instance on the fly, without requiring prior knowledge of the amount of rows needed. For example, if your organization utilizes a Daily Report that contains some general condition information like weather, as well as documenting the Trades on-site that day and number of resources, then the number of trades and resources could not be anticipated ahead of time. The system provides a method to support adding any number of Trades to the list on the fly.
Other potential uses include Design Review, Project Closeout and other checklist related processes.
This functionality can be applied to processes that would benefit from adding items on the fly
