Plan Room Enable Documents
Best Practice:
You can plan room enable entire folders or individual files. If you cannot ensure that all files in a folder are of the same document type and have the same custom field options, it is recommended that you update files individually, otherwise files will not be properly indexed.
- Go to the Documents module of the project you want to setup.
- Select the folder/document you want to customize for viewing in the plan room.
- Click the Properties link. The File Properties dialog box displays.
- Click the Custom Fields tab.
- Click the Document Type drop-down list to assign a document type to the file.
- In the Custom Fields section, click the drop-down list for each custom field and make a selection.
- Click Save.
