Manage Users Window

This window allows account administrators to add new users to the account. Users with the Manage Users permission are able to add and remove users from the project, but only from the Manage Membership page, for instructions, see Add/Remove Project Members. Project access can be managed from other areas of e-Builder Enterprise, such as in the Setup module, but the Manage Users page is convenient to use when account administrators are already working within a project.

Fields and Buttons

The fields and buttons located on this page are:

  • Add New User: Click to add a new user to the account. You will be redirected to the Add New User window.
  • Available Users: This section lists all account users that are not members of the project. Pull users from this list to be added as project participants. Use the filter to narrow down the list of users to choose from. To add users to the project, select their name(s) and then click the right directional arrow to add them to the adjacent Project Users panel.
    • Filter Users: Use these filter options to narrow down the list of available users.
  • Removed Users: If a user is removed from the project, they will display in this panel while this window remains open. This allows you to review the list of removed users before saving your changes.
  • Notify users removed from site: Select this check box to send an automated message to users listed in the Removed Users panel, informing them that they have been removed from the project.
  • Project Users: Lists all project members. Click the left directional arrow to remove users from the project. Doing so will revoke all access these users have to project data. Effectively, the project will no longer display in their list of projects to choose from.
  • Notify users added to site: Select this check box to send an automated message to users, informing them that they've been added to the project.
  • Include username and password: Select this check box to send usernames and passwords to newly added project members.
  • Save: Click to save changes.
  • Cancel: Click to discard changes.
