Custom fields are definable fields that drive the reporting needs of your organization. They are available throughout different modules within e-Builder. Custom fields allow you to group, filter, or categorize information according to specific business processes in your reports.
Fields and Buttons
The fields and buttons located on this page are:
- Reorder: Click to open the Reorder Form Type Custom Field page and change the order that custom fields display.
- Add Field: Click to open the Add Custom Field page and add a form custom field.
- Field Dependencies: Click to add field dependencies. Field dependencies allow you to associate custom fields to one another. For more information, see Field Dependencies.
- Edit: Click to open the Edit Custom Fields page and modify the details of the custom field.
- Delete: Click to delete the custom field. You are prompted for confirmation.
- Label: Displays the title of the custom field name.
- Data Type: Displays the custom field type.
- Permission: Displays the custom field permissions.
- Unique: Displays whether or not the custom field is unique. Unique form type custom fields are those that cannot be duplicated in other projects.
- Last Modified By: Displays the name of the last user that made changes to the field.
