Configure Display Options for Commitment Item Custom Fields

Display Options allow administrators to specify how custom fields will display for commitments/commitment changes and commitment invoices. If display options are not configured for commitment custom fields, users will still be able to complete these fields in add/edit mode, but the custom fields will not display on their respective tables in the user interface (Commitment Items, Commitment Changes, and Actual Costs).

To configure display options

  1. Go to the Cost settings.
  2. Click Custom Fields.
  3. Click Commitment Items.
  4. Setup_LeftNav_Cost_Display Options
  5. Click Display Options.
  6. The Commitment Item Custom Field Display Options page is displayed.

  7. Select the Display Field check box in the Commitments/Commitment Changes section and the Commitment Invoices section for each custom field you want to display in the user interface.

  9. In the Display Order column, determine the order in which custom fields will appear in a table using whole numbers, starting with 1.
  10. Click Save.
