Complete Workflows

To complete the workflow

  1. Go to the Workflow Designer.
  2. For more information, see Access Workflow Designer.

  3. Click Error Check.
  4. If there are errors, e-Builder will list them on the upper left-hand side of the page. If not, the message Workflow is valid appears.

  5. Click Save, and then click Publish.
  6. Close the Workflow Designer.
  7. The Workflow Properties page is displayed.

  8. Click Edit.
  9. Select the starting and finished process layout if none was selected in the workflow step.
  10. Select a default actor and non actor layout.
  11. If the process has a due date, select the check box and enter the number of days for completion.
  12. Select the Subject Read Only check box if the subject should be defaulted to a specific string and enter in the default.
  13. Select the has tracking prefix check box if you wish to have an additional field to track specific data in the numbering of the process.
  14. If the workflow is for the entire account and not specific projects make sure the account default box is checked.
  15. If this workflow is for a set of projects you can clear this check box and select the projects in the Project Assignments.

  16. Click Save.
  17. If applicable, create escalation rules. See Add Escalation Rules for more information.
  18. You can have multiple workflows defined for a process.
