Attach Documents to Budget / Line Items

From the Documents tab you can view, as well as attach any supporting files associated with the budget. Once attached, other users can view and download these files. One reason you might want to attach documents is to have electronic versions of original files such as budgets that may have previously been on spreadsheets and you need them to be readily accessible for review. Likewise, you are able to attach documents to the budget line item as well; see Edit Budget Details for instructions.

To attach documents to budgets

  1. Go to the Budget Details page.
  2. For more information, see Access the Budget Details Page.

  3. To attach documents to budget line items, click the line item number.
  4. —Or—

    To attach documents to the budget, go to step 3.
  5. Click the Documents tab. Click Attach Documents.
  6. In the Select Attachment Method section, select your method of attachment.
  7. Click Browse For Files...
  8. Search for and select the file you want to attach.
  9. You are returned to the Attach Documents dialog box.

  10. If you are attaching files from e-Builder, go to step 8.
  11. —Or—

    If you are uploading files from your computer, in the Select an e-Builder Destination folder field, click Browse.

  12. Search for and select the e-Builder destination folder.
  13. Click Attach Selected.
