Add/ Edit Project Web Links Page

This page allows you to add project web links or make changes to the details of an existing web link. Web links are created to give project participants access to websites pertinent to the project. These links will be accessible from the Project Details page. As many URLs can be added as necessary and then permissions set appropriately for each one. Some websites may be necessary for all project participants to access and others might need to be restricted to certain roles or just the administrator.

Fields and Buttons

The fields and buttons located on this page are:

• Save: Click to save changes.
• Save & Add: Click to save changes and add an additional web link.
• Cancel: Click to discard changes.
• Name of Link: Enter the name of the web link.
• URL (Link): Enter the web address.
• Pop-up Window Height: By default, the height of the window that displays the contents of the website is 640 pixels, but you can change it to meet your preference.
• Pop-up Window Width: By default, the width of the window that displays the contents of the web cam is 740 pixels, but you can change it to meet your preference.
• Link Permissions: Determine the permission level for accessing this website from the following options:
  • All - This is the default selection. Select to allow everyone with project access to access this URL.
  • Administrator Only - Select to limit access to this web cam to the project administrator only. The project admin can be specified from the Add/Edit Project page.
  • Selected Roles - Select to choose specific role that are able to access this URL
