Add New Project Statuses

Project statuses allow you to place your own labels on your projects in order to inform project participants of a project's standing. Statuses have no bearing on whether or not members can access the project; there are project settings and permissions that allow you to determine project access. Statuses simply inform users of the current state of the project. There are default project statuses available, but you can add additional ones or remove any that may not be applicable.

To add new project statuses

  1. Go to Project Settings.
  2. For instructions, see Access Project Settings.

  3. Click Project Status Options.
  4. The Manage Project Status Options page is displayed.

  5. Enter the new status in the Status field.
  6. Enter a description of the status in the Description field.
  7. Click Save.
