Access an Existing Bluebeam Session
After the new Bluebeam Studio session is created, the session details will be provided including the Session ID. The Session ID hyperlink launches the session. Existing sessions that are already in progress can be joined from the My Sessions tab of the Bluebeam Studio Integration page.
- Sessions can also be joined directly from within Bluebeam Revu from the Studio pane. To open the session, click Join and enter the Session ID and click OK.
- Existing Studio sessions can be updated from the My Sessions tab in Trimble Unity Construct. From this page, you finalize sessions, add files, and invite users to existing sessions. Existing active sessions can also be opened using the link provided by clicking on the Session ID.
- To add files or invite users to an existing session, click the check box beside the Session ID and then click the appropriate action button. Only one session may be updated at a time.
To access and update an existing Bluebeam Studio Session
- Open the Bluebeam Studio Integration page. The New Session tab displays by default.
- Click the My Sessions tab.
- Use the following Filter Sessions fields to filter the sessions:
- Status: Select a status to filter the sessions by from the drop-down list.
- Contains Text: Enter text to filter the sessions by.
- From the filter results, click the session ID view the session details.
- Add markups to the files as needed.
Files added to the session will be flagged as Checked Out by the session creator. The files selected must not be already checked out by another user. Once the session is completed and finalized, a new version of the file is created in Trimble Unity Construct. Files that were not modified will maintain their previous version.
- You can add files or invite users to the session.
- Click Save.
- View mark-ups made by others to the files.
- Close the window to close the session.
