To access documents in the plan room, they must first be customized in order to be used in the plan room. The Project Document Controller (PDC) performs this task for existing documents after the initial plan room setup. This task is periodically performed by the PDC as documents are added to the Document Library. By plan room enabling documents, you are assigning the document's file type as well as the plan room Jump-To values.
