Working with Dynamic Grids
Dynamic grids help you better organize the data input for processes. They are used to enable process actors to create new rows in a process instance on the fly. Once a grid is created it may be included in a process layout.
Example: You might create a daily report that contains some general condition information like weather, as well as documenting the trades on-site that day and number of resources. In this scenario, the number of trades and resources could not be anticipated ahead of time. To accomplish this, a process layout can be created that includes the general condition information and a dynamic grid can be added to document the trade information. Other potential uses include design review, project closeout and other checklist related processes.
