Scenario Templates
Scenario templates are best used if there are standard elements that apply to all or a majority of your planned/potential projects such as design, construction, permit costs, and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E). Using scenario templates is also a great way to establish a standard, initial budget for every project or certain types of projects i.e. vertical vs. horizontal construction or water/sewage vs. parks & recreation.
The procedure below describes creating the scenario template, adding categories, category assumptions as well as activating the template. Scenario templates can be activated at any time. Before activation, templates are in draft mode and not available for use or public viewing. Once activated, planners can see and use templates when creating scenarios.
