If a submittal package was closed in error or it is later determined that it should be open, it can be reopened. Reopening a submittal package will return it to the Open status.
To reopen a closed submittal package
- Go to the Submittal Packages page for the project.
- Click the title or the package # of the submittal package you want to reopen.
- Click Re-Open. The Add Comment popup is displayed.
- Enter a comment, if required.
- Click Re-Open to confirm. The submittal package is now re-opened.

Use the Filter Submittal Packages section to narrow filter results to show only closed submittal packages. This will help you access the desired submittal package more easily. In the Package Status field, select the Closed check box and then click Filter.
The Submittal Package Details page is displayed.
To reopen a closed submittal package by re-opening a submittal package item in it
Re-opening a submittal item will also re-open the submittal package that it is part of.
- Go to the Submittal Packages page for the project.
- Click the title or the package # of the submittal package you want to reopen.
- Click on a submittal item to view the Submittal Item Details page.
- Click Re-Open. The Add Comment page is displayed.
- Enter a comment, if required.
- Click Re-Open to confirm. The submittal package and submittal item is now re-opened.
