Register with e-Builder

If you previously registered as a bidder in the e-Builder Bid Portal, you do not have to register again. Your Bid Portal credentials can be used for all projects and owners who use the e-Builder Bid Portal.

EXCEPTION: For bidders who are subsequently awarded a contract, the owner (e-Builder customer) may assign you a licensed e-Builder account so that you can participate directly in e-Builder project activities. In this case, your Bid Portal username and password for future bid packages may be changed to match your licensed e-Builder account.

The first time you receive an invitation to bid, you must register with e-Builder and obtain a username and password in order to use the bidder portal. This same username and password can be used to bid on any additional projects for any e-Builder customer that you are invited to bid on.

During the registration you will create a username, receive a temporary password via e-mail, and then change that password.

To register with e-Builder

  1. Click the link in the bid request email.

    2. The e-Builder Bid Portal login page is displayed.

  2. Click Create Account.
  3. On the Create Account registration page, complete all required fields.
  4. Click Register.

    5. A temporary password is sent to your email address. If you do not receive the password within 10 minutes of registering, check your Spam or Junk folder. If the message has still not been received, contact e-Builder Support.

  5. Click Close.
  6. On the e-Builder Bid Portal login page, enter your username and password and click Login.

    7. You are prompted to change your temporary password.

  7. On the Change Password page, enter:
    • Current password - The temporary password that you received via email.
    • Password - Enter your new password.
    • Confirm Password - Re-enter your new password.
  8. Select or change your three security questions to answer.
  9. Click Save Password.

    10. A confirmation message is displayed depending on whether the project is currently open for bidding.

  10. Click Continue to view the bid packages that you have been invited to.
