Configure Invoice Item Custom Field Layouts

The Manage Invoice Layouts options allow you to specify which custom fields, if any will display on the Invoice Items table located on the Invoice Details page. If an invoice item custom field is not on an invoice layout, it will not display on the Invoice Items table, but will still be accessible by clicking the view invoice custom field icon (custom_fields_view).

To manage invoice layouts

  1. Go to the Administration Tools.
  2. Click Cost.
  3. Click Custom Fields.
  4. Expand Invoice Items.
  5. Manage Invoice Layouts
  6. Click General Invoice to create a custom field layout for general invoices.
  7. Or

    Click Commitment Invoice to create a custom field layout for commitment invoices.

  8. In the All Fields section, select the custom fields you want to add to the layout.
  9. Click Add.
  10. Click Save.
