Establish Equipment and Budget Item Association

To establish a relationship between equipment items and budget line items, you must select the appropriate equipment and budget custom fields; those created specifically for this association and have identical values. For more information, see About Cost Integration Settings.

To establish the association between equipment and budget items

  1. Go to the Setup.
  2. In the Administration Tools section, click Equipment Management, and then Manage Mapping.
  3. Click the Equipment Items drop-down arrow to select an equipment item custom field to map to a budget line item custom field.
  4. Click the Budget Items drop-down arrow to select a budget line item custom field.
  5. Click Save.
