Add/ Edit Form Fields Page
The Edit Form Fields page allows you to edit the fields of a form.
For specific instructions on editing form fields, see Manage Form Fields.

The fields and buttons on this page are:
- Copy Field(s): Click to copy the selected fields. Copied fields are added to the end of the respective section on the list. Use this feature to save time creating similar fields that share the same field type properties (string, text block, integer, radio buttons etc.) The section that the field belongs to and field name can be changed on this page, but the field type cannot.
- Add New Field: Click to add a new field.
- Save: Click to save changes.
- Cancel: Click to cancel and return to the Manage Form Types page. All unsaved changes will be lost.
- Delete: Click this link to delete the field. You will then be prompted for confirmation.
Deleting the field will delete all data from existing instances.
- Section: Displays the name of the corresponding section. If multiple sections exist, click to change the section of a given field.
- Order: Displays the order of the fields for each section. To modify, enter whole numbers starting at 1. By default, the system orders the fields in increments of ten (i.e. 10, 20, 30 and so on). This should leave enough space should you need to go back and add an additional field later, without having to change the numbering of all fields.
- Field Name: Displays the name of the field. Type within this field to make changes.
- Default Text & Options: If default values were saved for this form field, they display here. Available options for drop down, radio, multipick and check box fields also appear, if available.
- Type: Displays the field type. Once configured, this cannot be modified.
- Max Length: Enabled for string fields only. Enter the maximum character length. By default, a negative value displays, which represents an infinite length.
- Rows: Enter the number of rows to display on the form.
- Required: Displays whether or not a field is required. Select the check box to make a field required. Clear the check box to make the field optional.
- Editable: Displays whether or not a field is editable. Select the check box to make a field editable. Clear the check box to make the field read-only.
