Document Options Tabs

Document options allow you to select document sync, public access permissions, redline tool and public folder settings.

The Document Options settings feature that has to be enabled per account. For information on obtaining this service, please contact Trimble Support.

Fields and Buttons

The fields and buttons located on the e-Builder Sync tab are:

  • Save: Click to save changes
  • Cancel: Click to discard changes. All unsaved changes will be lost.
  • Enable e-Builder Sync: Select to enable Trimble Unity Construct sync options.
  • Enable Listing Projects: Select to enable listing projects.
  • Define Account Short Name for Login: Enter a short name for your account. This name is used to identify the account when using the Trimble Unity Construct WebDAV Service.

The fields and buttons located on the Public Access Permission tab are:

  • Save: Click to save changes
  • Cancel: Click to discard changes. All unsaved changes will be lost.
  • Grant Access: Select this check box beside a role name to grant public access permissions for folders in all projects in this account.
  • Revoke Access: Select this check box beside a role name to revoke public access permissions for folders in all projects in this account.

The fields and buttons located on the Redline Tool tab are:

  • Save: Click to save changes
  • Cancel: Click to discard changes. All unsaved changes will be lost.
  • Upgrade to HTML Redline tool: Select to upgrade to the HTML redline tool. This tool is available on all browsers. Once enabled, all users in the account will be automatically switched to a new HTML based viewer instead of the ActiveX viewer. Once enabled, this setting cannot be disabled.

The fields and buttons located on the Public Folders tab are:

  • Save: Click to save changes
  • Cancel: Click to discard changes. All unsaved changes will be lost.
  • Include Subfolder Files in Folder File Count: Select to include files in subfolders in the total folder file count that displays in the Documents Folders Pane.
