Delete Processes/ Instances

Account administrators can delete a process, and all of their associated instances from their account. Details of the deletion can be recovered by running an audit log report on the Processes module.

Once deleted, processes cannot be recovered.

Account administrators, project administrators and users with manage workflow permissions are able to delete process instances, without deleting the process by choosing the Allow comments to be deleted check box in the process properties. For more information, see Properties Tab Overview.

To delete a process

  1. Go to Process settings.
  2. For more information, see Access Process Settings.

  3. Click Manage Processes.
  4. Click the title of the process you to delete.
  5. Click Delete Process.
  6. You are prompted for confirmation.

    If there are dependencies that prevent you from deleting the process, a message that list all dependencies display and you will have to correct these issues before the process can be deleted.

  7. Enter a note.
  8. Enter your password to confirm deletion.
  9. Click Yes, Delete.
