Contacts
The e-Builder Contacts Module provides the ability to store and manage contact information for companies with whom you do business. The company information is utilized for the Cost and Bidding modules to provide necessary notification capability, reporting and historical information required for these modules. If you an not using these modules, the Contacts module is also utilized as a central contact repository for all contacts.
To add contacts, if you have the assigned permissions you may add contacts one at a time from the Contacts module. If you are an administrator, you have the capability of importing contacts from an Microsoft Excel file. This file can be either manually created or created using the export tool from another contact database (e.g. Outlook, Lotus Notes, Salesforce).
From an administration perspective, Contacts can have custom fields assigned to Companies or Contacts and this is where you would import contacts. To access the Contacts in the Administration Tools area, click the Contacts link.
