Bid History

Users with View Bidding permissions have the ability to view the bid history log. This makes every facet of the bid process transparent and facilitates a hassle-free auditing process. From the Bid History tab, you are able to see the exact changes of a modified bid package; when the package was created and closed; and a list of potential and invited bidders and their statues. A history of when the bid tabulation was opened and short listed bidders are also accessible from this page.

  1. From the top navigation tabs, click the Bidding tab.

    Use this method if you are not already working in a project.

  2. On the Bidding page, choose a project from the All Projects menu.

    The Bid Packages page is displayed.

  3. Click the name of a bid package to view the Bid Package Details page.
  1. Go to the Bid Package Details page.
  2. Click on the Bid History tab to view it.
  3. The following fields are displayed:
    • Show Filter/ Hide Filter: The filter is hidden by default. Click the Show Filter link to use the inline filter to narrow down the logged bid history actions by user, task, action or description.
    • User: Displays the name of the user that took the action.
    • Date & Time: Displays the date and time the action was taken.
    • Task: Displays the general area in which the action was taken; for example, Invited Bidders, Potential Bidders or Bid Scope Addendum.
    • Action: Displays the action that was taken.
    • Description: Displays a description of the action.
