Add Items to Bid Scope Templates

After a bid scope template has been created, bid scope items and additional information records need to be added to the template.

To add items to bid scope templates

  1. Go to Bidding settings.
  2. For instructions, see Access Bidding Settings.

  3. Click Templates.
  4. Click the title of the template you want to add items to. The Bid Scope Template page is displayed.
  5. Optionally, create bid scope sections.
  6. See Create Bid Scope Sections for instructions.

    From here you have the option to create sections, and then add items to those sections. Creating sections is not required, but doing so helps you further itemize the sections of the bid scope, clearly separating the different areas of scope; such as general conditions and other fees, base bid, and alternates. This makes it easier for bidders to submit their bids and having a standard format simplifies the process of reviewing bids as well.
