Add Process Data Field Dependencies

Process data field dependencies allow you to link custom fields to each other. This helps prevent data entry errors, and speeds up the manual effort required to fill in your custom fields as you build out new projects.

Below is a list of data types that can be used as controlling and dependent fields in a process data field dependency. Data types that aren't listed here cannot be added to a process data field dependency:

Qualifying Controlling Fields:

  • Radio Button Lists
  • Drop-Down Lists

Qualifying Dependent Fields:

  • Radio Button Lists
  • Check Box Lists
  • Drop-Down Lists
  • Multi-Pick Lists

Project level options are available for projects that have a Drop Down, Multiple Pick, Radio Button or a Checkbox data type selected. This is available for custom fields and Process Data Fields only. When configuring a field of one of these types, you will now have the ability to set the options at the:

  • Account Level
  • Project Level: Options can be different project by project
