Add BIM Files

BIM files are added and versioned in the Documents module just like any other file in the system. When creating model sets, you are prompted to choose your models from the Document module.

Files that are intended to be viewed in the BIM Viewer must be saved in the BIM File Import Folder otherwise it will not be available when creating model sets and consequently unavailable for viewing in the BIM Viewer. See BIM Settings to learn more.

To add BIM files

1. Go to the Project Documents page.

For instructions, see Access Project Documents page.

2. Click the folder you wish to upload files to, and then click Upload.

The Upload Documents dialog box displays.

3. Click Browse to search for and select the file.
4. Click Upload Files.
